Assessment
There are four observed and assessed Language Systems/Skills Assignments (LSAs). Three of these are internally assessed by the course tutors, and the fourth is externally assessed by a Cambridge Assessor.
Since I started having classes there I've improved my English. I'd recommend it to everyone who wants to have a better English.

Had a great time doing the part-time online CELTA course at The Irish Academy. It was a very challenging course, and a lot more work than I expected, but meeting and teaching so many lovely students and the support received from the course tutors and my classmates made it all worth it. The online course was really enjoyable, and although different to an in-person classroom I don't feel like my learning was hindered by teaching virtually. Overall, I am extremely glad that I chose The Irish Academy for my CELTA as the tutors and friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and I felt supported and encouraged throughout my studies.
I'm very happy that I decided to do the certificate with 'The Irish Academy'. Francisco and Kate made online teaching and tasks quite easy, they were supportive and always answered my questions. I will also have to mention that the students and colleagues were fantastic, I will miss everyone.

Great academy with fantastic tutors. Completed the CELTA course which was extremely insightful, informative and the best experience before starting to learn about teaching English for the future. The course is intensive which makes it even better because you know you're getting all that you need to start your career. I took the online CELTA course with the Irish Academy. It has definitely been 4 intense weeks, but I would do it all over again! The trainers have been very supportive; it's easy to tell they are experienced teachers with a very diverse teaching background, as well as incredible people, of course. The online side of things may be a bit challenging at first, but you'll get used to it so don't worry too much about it. I 100% recommend doing the course with The Irish Academy. The Irish Academy is an awesome academy. Not only did I get the CELTA course but also the B2 level with them. There are profesional and wonderful teachers and tutors. The environment and the quality-price was/is also really good.I´m not going to lie, doing CELTA (for me) was equally extremely hard but also really satisfying. I didn´t even know I was able to teach English to students, but with the constant support of the teachers/tutors and our “classmates” I was able to pass it. Because of that, I am proud of myself.I do recommend not only the CELTA course but also the academy in itself. They are amazing.

I've studied here for 4 weeks under the attentive tuition of 2 great CELTA teachers. They pushed me to achieve my goals, the taught some fantastically informative yet fun lessons and delivered the course in a very user-friendly manner. The staff at the academy are warm and welcoming & this added to the whole positive experience. It's really conveniently located, close to a main bus station, many hotels / hostels and eateries. My time here has been a rollercoaster of emotions on an intense course but highly recommendable and totally worth it!

Please know that I am not exaggerating when I write these words: There are not enough stars on this Google review app to help me describe how wonderful, how invaluably helpful this course and the tutors have all been!!I'd spent many years working in IT, and there was never any fruit in my labour. I don't feel that I am giving to the world; there are those who do give in IT -- working in hospitals, medical, helping the poor -- and I commend them. To be honest, I am not good at IT at all; it isn't my purpose.Teaching is my purpose, and this course helped me to reassure this. We all have a purpose and a reason for living in this world. Please find your purpose and pursue it with all your heart!For those of you who want to get into teaching, this CELTA course is amazing! And I can only speak of this centre here, which was indescribably helpful! The tutors are talented, experienced and kind -- a beautiful combination! The trainees with whom I worked have been very friendly and helpful. We really got close during these 4 weeks together by helping each other out and just being there for one another.Intensive is the very word to describe this 4-week course, but it's a cleansing process as well. We all have habits, and this course helped me to bring out my bad habits (e.g. time management -- was never very good at this) and to fix them!Highly recommended for any teacher enthusiasts out there! Plus, Las Palmas is a lovely city! Warm weather, palm trees, nice people, great food, can't go wrong! :D
Took the CELTA course here. Amazing experience. The tutors were very professional and dedicated. The other teachers were all very nice and helpful. The course itself was life changing and very effective. I would highly recommend taking the CELTA here. It may not be cheap, but it's totally worth every penny.
Completing the CELTA course was both challenging and intensive but definitely worthwhile. The support received from the tutors and academy directors was fantastic as was that of the other teachrers working at the academy. There's a real collegiate environment at the academy which definitely enhanced the course. Having read a lot about the CELTA online I was prepared for a very different experience. I wouldn't choose to do it anywhere else.
As I have to get an English certificate, they've been very close and friendly. They have answered any of my questions and they have provided any guidance needed. Once the classes started, teachers are committed to their work and do their best to help us achieve our goals.
